Club History

The Rotary Club of Woodburn Oregon, formed in 1938, is involved in local and international service projects and also supports the worldwide projects of The Rotary Foundation by being a 100 percent sustaining club. This means that each member of the club donates at least $100 per year to The Rotary Foundation. Club Meetings are held at Wellspring Medical Center, where members gather for about one hour each week for fellowship, to have lunch, and to hear a speaker who is usually a business or community leader.

The Rotary Club of Woodburn Oregon is a member of District 5100 which includes approximately 70 Rotary clubs in northern Oregon and parts of Southern Washington. District humanitarian projects frequently involve several clubs in the District, as well as Sister Clubs in other states and in foreign countries. Club and District service projects may also be eligible for matching grants from The Rotary Foundation.
